Growing up playing soccer competitively prepared Courtney for union leadership as both require tenacity, calculated aggression, and maintaining focus on the long game end goal.  Her degree in Biology and experience as both a Wildlife Biologist and Laboratory Scientist, exposed her to the inanity of large bureaucracies impeding their purported goals through their own policies.  In her spare time, Courtney enjoys bird watching, cooking, spending time with her dog, and backloging her husband's honey-do list.  During the 2022-2024 term, Courtney served well beyond the Trustee role, activly particpating in the Poltical Action Committee and the Member Action Team.  She was recently nominated to serve as a Chapter Chair in the Local during the 2025-2027 term.
