Steve Baron's professional journey with the city began in January 2013 as an Accountant II. He has since held various positions in the accountant classifications, working in BES, BRFS, and as an Admin Specialist III in BHR, where he was a key payroll team member. His experience spans across the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Capital Assets, Financial Reporting, and Payroll modules in SAP during his tenure at the COP.

Stephen enjoys camping, cooking, reading, watching Syfy shows, and trying to understand his 11-year-old son’s use of slang words and whether Ohio is good or bad. When he’s not learning about rizz and skibidi from his son, he usually spends time at his home in the Aloha, OR area with his wife, Jennifer, of 16+ years.
