Ira Chairs a Chapter that includes the Portland Housing Bureau as well as members working in the Office Support Specialist series of classifications in bureaus all across the city.  He's also one of two Local 189 members on Oregon AFSCME Council 75's Executive Board, where he was recently elected to serve as Council 75's Diversity and Inclusion Officer.
